Cheery and moody and folky and elegant all at once

I'm always opening old books in hopes of finding drawings inside

and to my eye quite an amazing looking thing

Robot Looking Old Toy Soldier Mold mid-century toys I would guess most likelyWhat I like about this old toy mold is how, in its fairly degraded state, the soldier looks to me like quite like a robot, making it feel nostalgic and futuristic both. Just one side of what would have been a front and back mold, and just a small thing, but I really like it. 3 5 16" x 2 1 8" x 9 16". 1920s 40s or so I might guess, in fairly aged condition, all to the good I think.
