Vintage Moroccan Taznakht Rug 245/140 cm Bond & Grace botanical note to the tableSourced from the Taznakht region in Morocco, circa 1980's. Features a sun faded red field adorned with traditional Amazigh symbols in salmon and icy blue hues. The central motif is an intricate lozenge, which the weaver likely added as a wish for abundance and fertility. The highly detailed borders with repeated motifs indicate that the weaver wished to emphasise her message. A beautiful original worthy of passing down, along with its rich history.
