in the Courthezon district

but it is swathed in copious tobacco-drenched black fruit and a superb line of acidity

Jonata, Sangre Vintage:2018 The 2010 du Tertre soarsMatt Dees is the winemaker on a property originally invested in by Charles Banks and Stan Kroenke (in the same stable as Screaming Eagle at one stage). Blackish purple. Not very balanced. Sweetness at the start and then a hot chewy end. Liquorice. Fades a bit fast. A bit fossilised. Tastes as though it hasnt evolved for while. Is this an attempt at a Guigal La La style? Not for me at the moment.
