Romanian Handwoven Wool Rug with Wheat and Flower Design lion A wonderful example of exquisiteThis super sweet vintage handwoven kilim in red and black with cream patterned border and wheat and flower design measures just over 25" by 16 1 2" inches, with an additional 3 inches of fringe on either end. Based on my research, I am certain it is Romanian, and believe it dates from the 1960's. Woven in a classic kilim style, with a wool weft and cotton warp, it's a special small rug for a special spot. Excellent condition.
