Provoking a similar sense of creativity and possibility that a brand new box of crayons once did

This seems about right, though Id think perhaps she moved north (there are some of other Bolics from around the same time in Pennsylvania) to a place of snowy winters, where she might have been inspired to paint this. Though I don't know for sure, I am guessing she was African
