Vina Cobos, Bramare Malbec Chanares Vintage:2016 it spent 24 months inBright ruby red. Very ripe aromas of blackberry, blueberry, violet and licorice, plus notes of cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Quite seamless in texture but with a slightly medicinal, herbal cast that conveys the coolness of the 2016 vintage. Strong black fruit flavors are accented by menthol and mint. Finishes with firm, building tannins, a note of dusty cocoa powder and very good violet lift. Not a particularly pliant style of Cabernet Franc, this
