Renate Scheer Kalkofen 1962 "Solitude“ Signed Print gravel painting of landscape Good condition with a greatThere is not a whole lot out there about Renate Scheer Kalkofen (1935 2013) who created this print (a 4 color screen print I believe) in 1962, as well as several others I am listing from around the same time. (I had a few more of Kalkofen's prints in the shop a year or two ago, which sold quickly, so was happy to find a few more this past weekend I think they're just gorgeous.) I know she was a graduate of Tufts University and spent much of her life
