and I know pretty rare--and this set is really in excellent condition

I might hang it in a corner fairly high up as if perched in a tree top and keeping watch

These two were certainly put to use

Very Old Hand-Carved Arm with Stigmata iron handle 5 5/8" x 3 5/8"I have to think this was once attached to a very old carved Christ figure, due to the stigmata piercing the palm of the hand. It feels pretty ancient, and beautiful I think for quite the patina it has acquired, including a little loss to a couple of the fingers. Quite an evocative thing. 10 inches long x 2 3 8" wide x 1 1 4" d. Much aged over at least a couple hundred years I'd think, all to the good, and not fragile.
