layered and vinous
ripe and almost dense
This has plenty of extract and should have no problem evolving well because the tannins are both round and reasonably ripe
The other parcels all merited 97-100 points
Domaine Ponsot, Corton Bourdon Vintage:2013 layered and vinous(a bourdon is a bumblebee). A markedly earthy nose features notes of very ripe dark currant, game and leather hints. Here too there is a lovely sense of energy and punch to the muscular but not really rustic broad shouldered flavors that also possess very good if not sensational mid palate concentration before culminating in a balanced and palate coating finish.
