1910 Graphite Drawing of Fancy Woman in Huge Hat iron utensils rack ) featuring intertwining oak leavesIt's the massive scale of this woman's hat that really makes this drawing for me (which, in absence of legs to sturdy her would most definitely cause her to topple!), though I love the detailing her jewelry and the flourishes on her dress too. The drawing was done on an semi translucent onion skin type paper in graphite, then carefully cut out and pasted onto card, with a red ribbon threaded through two holes at top that I believe likely bound it with
