C. late 19th c. Japanese I believe, with a pair of dragonfly painted in silver with tiny black eyes, this I believe would be referred to as a chazutsu, or tin for holding tea which it would do very well again now, though just beautiful set someone, especially alongside some silver of any sort or collection of
