Description
The vessel was hand-thrown
but it seems equally viable as a tray for jewelry or a line of perfectly crafted sushi rolls
Wonderfully sincere and teeming with hard-trying labor and love
1918--I'd guess a class assignment from an advertising design class
1 Aston Villa, Footballers in Red and Blue, c. 1960s Watercolor Drawing on Card staple repair jug The vessel was hand-thrownI purchased this drawing from a seller in England, where (I had to look it up) Aston Villa is the name of one of the oldest and most successful football clubs in England. I just fell immediately in love with the red and blue uniforms (plus green for the goalie) and especially the stripes of their socks. Fun faces too. 1960s or so I believe (including based on the uniforms), watercolor on scrap cardboard from a manufacturer of "laminated road springs."
