Atmospheric Antique Oil on Canvas Seascape with Gulls teddy bear who I believe purchased themI found this one the coast of New Hampshire just yesterday, and would guess it has not very travelled far probably painted somewhere between there and Maine in the late 19th century. It's about as atmospheric as it gets a vertical slice of rough sea and cloud covered sky, with the blocked sun illuminating pastel shades from lavender to pale blue to greenish gold, and with the trail of fluttering seagulls seeming very an extension of the sea itself.
