Description
the Grumbacher company went on to become an art materials empire
aged and worn just right
The fact that this dapper fellow's pants and shoes were never finished makes him feel pretty timely for this era of pajama-panted zoom calls
which I purchased online--it is less of carving to add to the menagerie
Antique Handmade Mechanical Valentine: The One Who Hides antique wooden case the Grumbacher company went onWhile most we certainly made by schoolgirls, this and one other must have been made by a mother or a teacher as they're quite skillfully done, moving parts and all! I especially love the tiny arm of the girl in this one, with a tiny heart painted on it, and which rests on the wall such that her little head just peeks up! 5" t x 3 5 8" w. The hand of the boy is lost if it ever existed, but it's easy to conceal his arm! Otherwise very good condition.
