Evocative 1960s Peter Passuntino Ink on Paper Drawing of Two Figures curled splint basket and to my eye justI find this quite a strong and affecting drawing, one of a handful I've purchased by artist Peter Passuntino (b. Chicago, 1936) dating the 1960s. I find his drawings quite potent; ambiguous but highly charged, seeming to portray psychological states as well as interpersonal dynamics, including exertions of power and expressions of vulnerability and feeling pretty archetypal as they do. Unsigned and undated, but I know from others in the group c. late
