Description
this is a wine of finesse
As is almost always the case this is aromatically less elegant but spicier and a bit more complex as well with its reserved array of liqueur-like dark berries
Overall this is fantastic and should effortlessly reward longer-term cellaring yet be approachable after only 5 or so years
This is a quality Bourgogne that should drink well young if desired
Pascal Prunier Bonheur, Meursault Clous other_regions_australia this is a wine ofOne can smell the minerality on the wafting nose of acacia blossom, various white orchard fruit, just sliced citrus and a similar hint of petrol character. The vibrant and relatively generously proportioned medium weight flavors brim with sappy extract on the stony, youthfully austere and lingering finale where a similar hint of bitter zest appears. This isnt as racy as the best in the range but offers fine quality for its level. One to consider.
