featuring three different scenes of human and animal interaction--my favorite being this girl and parrot sitting atop its cage

Sweet c. 1930s-40s Hand-painted Folk Art Wooden Box with White House, Many Flowers, and Smoking Chimney folk art eve I believe this notebook datesI have to think this is a portrait of a specific house, down to the bird bath standing in the lawn in front of it. And at least one of those inhabitants had a green thumb, with flowers blooming everywhere. Perhaps made long ago as a present for its inhabitants, 1940s or so I would guess. I especially love the trail of smoke coming from the chimney and arching all the way over it, almost like a gray rainbow! 5 1 4" x 4 1 4" x 1 5 16". Good condition,
