C. 1930s German (marked on one side.), black and gold enamel over chrome I believe, and conceivably with an interior wooden lining, but I'm not sure. These seem to be pretty coveted things, which I can definitely understand! 3 3 16" w x 3 5 8" d x 1 1 2" t. Some light scratches to the enamel and wear to the bottom of the interior, but overall good
