This one I'd guess dates to the mid-20th century or so
and perhaps corresponding to the ages of the original square head iron nails and then round head ones use as reinforcements
which is I think in large part what makes them compelling
and especially the Easter egg-like paint job on it

With gun in one hand, dagger in the other, this incredible feathered headdress, painted face, and streaming hair, I find it incredibly expressive and potent, in a manner not unlike ledger drawings, though I am pretty sure this is not a Native American piece.
