and exposed clay on the interior and bottom

it makes an ideal planter--refined enough for inside

as well as a hairline crack on the interior near one of the hinges and overall wear/aging to the interior bottom half

Now, I think it makes for quite a satisfying tabletop object just on its own the wood is beautiful and the elongated egg form really elegant though it would be fun to see it put to use as the topper for a whole new construction! 5" tall x 2 1 8" in diameter.
