Lovely Large Antique Applique Quilt Square seaside photo this one features three compartments--Though I haven't embarked on handling actual quilts, I've started really keeping an eye out for beautiful old applique quilt squares that would be lovely framed, or sewn onto something else or perhaps one might collect a bunch and complete a quilt with them now. This one I believe is late 19th century and made of cotton flour sack type fabric, with the appliqued pieces I believe hand dyed. All carefully sewn by hand with tiny stitches and in excellent
