Hand-carved Wooden Magnifying Glass concrete bookends it is in excellent conditionThis is not an antique, but it certainly has some age to it, and I really like the fairly rustic approach to what I typically think of as a pretty refined object. Plus the perfectly round raised ring around the glass and perfectly flat handle, which makes me think a bit of a popsicle or lollipop on a stick, and also of shaker bevelled glass hand mirrors. A fun object, great for all sorts of displays and who can ever have too many magnifiers laying
