Hemerocallis All American Chief Chelone The clove-scented flowers come inI first saw Hemerocallis 'All American Chief' in 2001 in the garden of Minnesota hosta breeder, Don Dean, and was blown away. I've grown lots of daylilies, but had never seen one with that much oomph a technical term. Hemerocallis 'All American Chief' performed equally as well in our NC garden since, as we later discovered, it was bred in NC by our friend, Van Sellers of Iron Gate Gardens. For us, Hemerocallis 'All American Chief' is a vigorous
