Salvia microphylla 'San Carlos Festival' was the best of a population in full flower in October. This compact grower (2' tall x 3' wide) has proven to be the most floriferous selection we have grown in our gardens. The clump is adorned with hundreds of red violet (RHS 66A) flowers celebrated by hummingbirds from early May
