Now crafted from Durostima, a recyclable plastic, the bowl is stronger, more shatterproof, and safe for use in the microwave and freezer. Originally designed in 1954 by Sigvard Bernadotte and Acton Bjrns studio in Copenhagen, the bowl was named after Queen Margrethe II with permission from the royal house.
