Iris Nada Saudi Arabia Like many a native springIris 'Nada' is a little known 1950s iris hybrid from the late California plantsman, Jimmy Giridlian, of Oakhurst Gardens. Iris 'Nada', a cross of Iris wattii x Iris japonica, forms an evergreen patch, comprised of 2' long evergreen leaves that resemble Iris tectorum on steroids. Our four year old clump, which spreads slowly by thick underground rhizomes, is now 4' wide. The ruffled white flowers, highlighted by a yellow throat and a pale lavender
