Granville Eola Amity Hills Chardonnay Koosah Vineyard 2024 26REASONABLE making Syrahs that are notAt 800 to 1,100 feet, Koosah is about as high as Chardonnay grows in the Eola Amity Hills and Granville takes its fruit from Blocks 5 and 7, the steepest, most wind lashed slopes at the very top. That combination of altitude, exposure and cold Pacific air is a recipe for tension: small berries, slow ripening, and acidity that doesn't quit. The site has been farmed biodynamically since it was planted in 2016, and Jackson Holstein keeps the cellar work
