Vineyards: Biodynamically farmed
inky fruit and a bit of new oak
where Pinot grigio is fermented on the skins as one would make a red wine and results in a lightly colored wine which will become more copper hued as it ages
2024 Max Kilburg Goldtropfchen Riesling Kabinett, Mosel, Germany Grand Mayan everything is blended and thenThe Goldtrpfchen is the warmer vineyard, yet somehow the wine presents more linear (these basic notes as per Ohligsberg and Goldtrpfchen hold true with the expressions of Julian Haart as well, which is fascinating) the tones here are a bit brighter and stone fruited; it is also characteristically spiced and herbal, simply piercing and lithe.
