Concentrated and nicely oxidative nose and palate
A full-bodied
it offers to the nose scents of black berries
The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and crunchy red fruit tinged with cedar and pine
Chateau Fourcas Dupre, Listrac-Medoc, France 2016 Jean Baptiste Adam Concentrated and nicely oxidative noseThis is tasting beautiful this year, very enjoyable fruit extraction that manages to be intense but not overdone. The tannins are firm but could perhaps be a little more pliable to fully open up the structure of the wine. Classic, with lovely menthol notes and a good example of the work being done in Listrac right now. Planted to 44% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon with the rest Cabernet Franc and a splash of Petit Verdot. 91 Pts Decanter
