2022 Folias de Baco 'Uivo' Curtido Branco Pet Nat, Douro, Portugal Le Puy de L'Ours 10% Nerello CappuccioFrom 40 year old Moscatel Galego vines at 600 meters in the schist and granite soils of the Douros Cima Corgo. Grapes are hand harvested, then undergo 24 weeks of skin maceration in cement before spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Bottled mid fermentation using the ancestral method, with no additions, fining, or filtration. Lightly cloudy, energetic, and deeply rooted in site and method.
