La Montre is built from micro-parcels in Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ
iron-imbued soil on a 15° slope just to the south of Gevrey-Chambertin
then fermented in very small stainless-steel tanks
2024 Les Horees Bourgogne Les Garennes, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru, France England Moscato GialloVariety: Chardonnay Vine Age: Planted in the early 1970s Terroir: Upper slope, surrounded by trees, poor, very calcareous soils with white stones, east facing. Viticulture: Purchased grapes, organic (in official conversion). Vinification: Pressed with whole clusters in a vertical press, ambient yeast fermentation and aging for 18 months in 228 and 400 L barrels, SO2 added after malolactic conversion.
