The early Merlots were made from a combination of fruit from Rosazzo and Buttrio

followed by 8 months of aging in stainless and 9 months in bottle

cinnamon and chocolate with a menthol finish

The grapes are hand picked and fermented in stainless steel with a light touch to keep the tannins fine; levage stays in tank to preserve crunch and perfume.
