2019 Domaine Belargus Anjou Quarts, Loire, France Wohlmuth chalk and sandQuarts is a south facing lieu dit of Quarts de Chaume which before the French Revolution was in the hands of the sieureurs de Haute Guerche. They had tithed a quarter of this parcels wines to the Abbey of Ronceray in Angers for generations, a tradition now enshrined in the name of the appellation Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru.
