The chest came original from Highclere Castle and had passed through the Fernside family from an ancestor who was in service at Highclere Castle in the late 1800s

This rare & unusual bronze bust was cast by the Lost Wax method (Cire Perdue)

The vase of tall tapering form, the rounded body with a yellow translucent ground and overlaid with red glass. The design is of Carnation flowers, some fully open and some yet to open, the vase is intricately carved out with a layered cameo technique, using both tools and acid etching then fire polished to give depth and contrast to the yellow translucent mat
