Kosta Browne Russian River Valley Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch 2011 TAGS grilled pineapple and papayaA library release Pinot Noir from one of Russian River Valley's most prized vineyards. Keefer Ranch, planted in 1996 on Goldridge sandy loam in the coolest part of the valley's Green Valley sub region, is dry farmed by legendary vineyard manager Marcy Keefer. Kosta Browne began sourcing from this site in 2005. The 2011 vintage was famously challengingfrost, rain, and cool weatherbut the best wines, like this one, achieved phenolic ripeness at lower
