A fine quality antique Zanzibar dowry chest, the hinge lidded chest is profusely decorated with brass studwork and copper cladding in geometric designs. The chest has substantial brass carrying handles to the side, the lid with engraved strap hinges to the underside and a heavy brass locking hasp to the front. Inside is a clean and aroma free
